Subject: Numeracy
Topic: Shopping
EXPERIENCE:.I create a shopping corner in the class for children. They bring materials such empty containers of used daily needs. i will provide pretend money such as Naira of various denominations.
ASSOCIATION: We will label the materials with prices.
Rehearsal: With adult’s support, pupils will be involved in shopping role play activities after identifying the denominations .
Practice; pupils will be involved in shopping activity in a nearby mall.
Subject: Numeracy
Topic: sorting of objects
Experience: i will bring out different colours of balls representing the primary colours and put them in a big basket.
Practice: I will get 3 different smaller bowls representing the primary colours. Then I will ask the learners to put the red ball inside the red bowl, the blue balls in the blue bowl, the yellow balls in the yellow bowl. Sorting is already taking place
Association: the lesson will be associated with the primary colours as a memorable image, because the lesson will help them to really differentiate the three primary colours from each other
Rehearsal: I will ask the learners to sort on their own while I watch them.
Subject is Geography
Topic is Elements of Culture.
EXPERIENCE: the class will organise a cultural day show and the students will come dressed in different attires of different cultures represented.
REHEARSAL: The students will write a short drama theme which will involve the elements of culture eg a marriage scene and acted by them.
PRACTICE: acting the marriage scene.
ASSOCIATION: the students will associate that topic with the cultural day display, the attires, drama, food and colours of the day.
APPLICATION: The students will be asked to create a story board of a cultural day or culture elements.
Subject: Numeracy
Topic: area of plane shapes
Experience: get the Pupils to find the areas of tables and items in the class.
Rehearsal: Recite the formula of areas of plane shapes.
Practice: solve problems on area of shapes.

TOPIC : Leaf printing
Experience
Learners come to school with their different colours and their desired pattern of leaf.
Application
Learner’s will apply their choice of colour on the leaf and stamp it on their lesson note .
Association
The lesson will be associated with the mixture and identification of primary and secondary colours
Practice
Learners are instructed and grouped to create a different colour leaf design, and pattern.
Subject: primary science
Topic: kind of fruits
Experience:
Teacher bring into the class real fruits and give the pupils to touch and feel each of them.
Each get to see the fruits live and even touch it.
Association
Lesson will be associated with different kinds of fruits.
Rehearsal
Pupils will be asked to touch any fruits of their choice and say the name.
Topic:Cleaning the bedroom.
Experience : post a chart of a scattered and well arranged bedroom, then ask learner what they can do to the scattered room to get it well arranged.(using problem solving approach to get them involve)
Association: I relate the topic to a personal life story of how I couldn’t easily access an item I was looking for in the because my room was scattered.
Practice: scatter the class and ask them to arrange it.
Application: give them assignment on daily routine of laying their bed after waking up. Sweeping and arranging. Then a communnicate with their mum through communication book to get feed back.
Subject: English Grammar
Verb: (Action words)
PRACTICE: To get the learners to participate actively, learners sing a song that involves performing different actions.
ASSOCIATION: Each learner performs an action and represent the action on a drawing sheet.
APPLICATION: Each learner gives an example of a verb, perform the action and makes a sentence.
REHEARSAL: Learners repeat the lesson during sport day performing different actions as exercises while teacher reinforces the lesson.

Topic: Lines
Experience: Get straight objects like long rulers and straws to show the different types of lines.
Rehearsal: Pupils try to make the lines both with straws and their body parts(arms, fingers, legs). The repeat this process as many times as possible.
Practical: They practicalise the different lines with other straight objects they can think of.
Subject: science
Topic: fruit and vegetables
Experience: display various fruits and vegetables in the classroom for learners to observe by looking and feeling with the skin
Rehearsal/practice: have the learners call out the names of the fruits and vegetables repeatedly by touching each item. This is done after the teacher must have called out the names
Association: I will have the learners come with their individual fruits in the second period. This is to enable them taste their fruit and tell the difference in the their taste and texture
Application: the teacher presents a chart of well nurished people. She further explains that fruits and vegetables makes this happen and eventually results to healthy living. Hence they should eat lots of fruits and vegetables to live healthy
Subject: Science.
Topic: Kitchen utensils.
Experience:
Teacher brings into the classroom various kinds of kitchen utensils for the learners to observe and touch.
Practice:
Learners will be call out to touch and name each kitchen utensils repeatedly, and this is done after the teacher must have mention the names of kitchen utensils.
Association:l will ask the learners the learners to come with some kitchen utensils to the classroom.
Application
The teacher present a chart showing different kinds of kitchen utensils.She goes ahead and explain that kitchen utensils are those equipment use in the kitchen to enhance cooking.
Subject: Science
Topic: Sound and how sound is made
Practice: the teacher brings a bell into the class, jingles it and ask the students the following questions _ What do they hear?
What made the sound? How was the sound made etc
Association: Reuse materials like, pet bottles, rubber band, wire, cartons etc have been gathered to make different musical sounds.
Application: we draw our plan on any sound instruments of our choice, this is done in groups. We draw the instrument, with labelling then we design each.
Rehearsal : we carry out the making of each sound instrument.
Practice: we demonstrate how each sound instrument works.
Subject: Numeracy
Topic: Lines

Experience :bring out some learners to act the role of nuclear and poligamous family.
Rehearsals : show them the chat showing both families. Call out learners randomly for proper identification of both families.
